A Chance to Change Foundation was established in 1979 as an addiction treatment center, with an emphasis on helping the whole family. Experienced counselors can help with substance abuse, problem gambling, sex addiction, and other behavioral addictions. Counselors are qualified to work with those suffering from depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress syndrome, and other trauma. We can help with marital and family issues, and have children and adolescent specialists on staff. A Chance to Change offers education classes, workshops, and prevention programs. St. Joseph’s Counseling Center has been providing professional outpatient counseling services within the Archdiocese since 1990. They adhere to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching which proclaim that human life is sacred and the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society; marriage and family are the central social institutions that must be strengthened; every person has a fundamental right to life and those things required for human dignity and corresponding to those rights are duties and responsibilities to one another, our families and the larger society. They offer confidential counseling services to individuals, groups, families and children in the context of the Catholic tradition. These individuals are provided opportunities for therapeutic change and growth in an atmosphere of acceptance and caring. St. Joseph’s also provides educational programs, consultation and referrals to community resources. Promise Place with NorthCare is a community-school partnership located at Emerson High School in Oklahoma City. Designed primarily for high school age males and females, who are parents or expectant parents, the project also serves students expelled from school for behavioral and truancy issues. Program services are designed to increase high school graduation rates and strengthen the family life of students. Safe Families with NorthCare is a child maltreatment prevention project serving families with young children at high risk for abuse or neglect. The Oklahoma County Juvenile Bureau has developed a Community Outreach Prevention Program to assist our community and schools on the topics of Bullies and Weapons. We see a great need in our community and schools to bring awareness to the public concerning the affects of Bullies and Weapons. Our presenters for the program are Juvenile Bureau Employees who work directly with youth in our Detention Center and in Probation Services, or, Supervisory personnel who have been involved in such services and now train our own staff. All presenters have both training and direct experience working with at-risk youth, particularly those involved in aggressive behavior. Presentations have been developed to address the particular needs of various audiences. Age appropriate information is presented for elementary or middle-school youth. Or, information and materials can be presented for teachers and/or parent groups. The Mission of the Juvenile Bureau is "To Work With the Community to Prevent and Control Juvenile Delinquency." We hope and believe this program will provide an opportunity to partner with local communities throughout the County to prevent and address this significant issue of weapons and bullies in our schools.

Red Rock's Outpatient treatment programs provide individual, group and family counseling. They offer comprehensive, coordinated, and defined services that may vary in level of intensity. Outpatient programs address a variety of needs, including, but not limited to: situational stressor, family relations, interpersonal issues, psychiatric illnesses, addictions and mental health issues. Red Rock’s Outpatient Programs serve individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders. Substance abuse counseling provides education, support, and the skills needed to battle chemical use/dependency. These services include HIV education, training and counseling for substance dependent persons and their spouses/partners. All drug dependent clients are referred for HIV testing and counseling. The goal of the outpatient programs is to provide accessible, comprehensive services responsive to each individual client and for each to obtain their optimal level of functioning in the home and community. This will be evidenced by effective management of psychiatric symptoms and/or substance use. Almost 70% of outpatients met their individualized treatment objective over the course of treatment.
